months back (yala, procrastinated post again) ann went to Sibu.
if you ask ann to describe sibu in 3 words, they would be sien, bumpy, yum yum.
sien – shopping centres are not shoppitable, cafes close at 11.30pm like hallo?
bumpy – da road from bint-ulu to sibu is all da way tossed us(ann, kei@kiki, xiang@roomie and lawr) up and down. forget about highways ok.
no.
luckily not as bumpy as this.
if not, heart, lungs, kidney, gall bladder all also fulng out wei
yum yum – da most enjoy-est part of our sibu trip. yum yum. *slurps*
will show u places that we visited in another post.
now, just wanna make you hungry show you those yummilicious food that we had. us here refers to ann and KiKi since Xiang and Lawr are sibuian.
no, we didn’t mum any local food, like laksa, gongpias, ding bian hu(鼎边糊)and kampua. forget them, u can have them everywhere in sarawak.
we mum-ed something you guys can’t find in Bint-ulu ones ok.
our dinner was taken at Xiang’s house. warm-welcome by her family members with dai chap hai. neh, those big big crabbies ler…lazy wanna find what they are in english. if u know ar, enlighten ann ar 🙂
later that night we yamcha-ed at Red Carrot Cafe.
nice ambience with dimp lightings. ann likey.
nice drinks. yum yum.
didn’t order any food. just plain drinks plus chitchats. planning where lawr will bring us da next day.
one thing doesn’t like about sarawak was that their cafes close before 11.30pm. hallo? that is da peak hour, and they wanna close, must be too rich, tak hairan got business or not.
da next day, had brunch at Cha Dao (茶道).
da door. nice right?
have to take off shoes before going.
tables are liddis where you have to sit on da floor.
biankia, our feet smell good. 😆
btw, what is 香港脚 in english ar? Hong Kong’s legs? Hokkie’s legs? or simply stinky legs???
da menu. couldn’t recall what they order. but ann ordered 给我一个吻.
ann took this pic. ohg, she is such a genius *self praising*
why five drinks when there were only four pairs of legs?
Xiang’s sis was camera-shy la.
food. donno what is what.
on da bottom right was Kiki’s chasiufan(叉烧饭), on da bottom left was ann’s pork rice?
food here was just ok ann would say.
actually can’t really recall how they taste la…since it was monthsss ago.
ok, ann is such a procrastinator. tsk tsk tsk.
Then, dinner-ed at Sushi Tie
sushis we ordered. yum yum
da fantuan is cute and hugee.
all these at da price of 120bucks. kinda worthy.
at first still wondering were these all enough to feed us.
da result was…
these leftovers. tapao-ed.
before leaving,
an obligatory group pic.
that’s da only group pic that we took. ann is losing her camwhore ability 😥
and ann feel like puking after mum-ing. not because of too-fullness, but
this farking waiter digged his bloody plague in front of us. WTF. *pukes*
da third day before leaving,
Xiang’s mami treated us breakkie at Osaka.
nice decor…
green tea we had
only can remember ann and Kiki ordered ramen while Xiang ordered LengMian(冷面).
taste nice wei especially da pork ribs. yum yum. *slurps*
and we wondered Hock da paiguatjeng has anything to do with this shop…
eh, Ah Hock Kia da paiguatjeng, izzit your yimagujie who adore you so freaking much that they named da shop after u huh huh?
can’t imagine if a shop names after ann’s would be
Ah Ann Cha Bo Kopitiam…
bastards. sounded so ah lian-ish.
but hor if ann ann turn into a very atas branded label, like Miu Miu…that would be da bestest thing in da world. no no, that comes after, da first would be ann being da CEO. ok la, ann knows la, too early to dream la. bugger.
and a final pic,
